news:

9-20-05 It's been awhile and there is not much to say. The second album has been done for over a month. If you want one e-mail me at mcnertne@grinnell.edu. Seriously, you can have one. Most of my friends have had it for a while and haven't really listened to it. Jerks. The picture to the right is from the Uncle John's show. Click on "pictures" to see more.

8-02-05 It's official! The Uncle John's show will happen on Wednesday August 17th at 7:00 (see picture to right). This day is also my 21st birthday so I will hit the bars afterwards.

7-19-05 Recording of new tracks has finally begun! I laid down aguitar track and a rhodes track yesterday and overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. Look for a new mp3 soon. Next months UJ show will hopefully include my good friends Sarah Dees and Paul Madsen.

7-12-05 I have spoken with the owner of Uncle John's (a record store in Sioux City) and hopefully I will be having some kind of album release performance thingie before I go back to school. This also means I need to start working on the new record because I have very little done.

I have acquired a mixer (which is an excellent alternative to a microphone going directly into a computer) and a classical acoustic guitar. The new record should have higher fidelity overall.
